Located in a strip mall right off of Kapahulu with lots of free parking. Food is ALWAYS on on point delicious. Been coming here for over 20 years. Can't believe it took me this long to write a review. Although a smaller sized restaurant, don't let that fool you. It's clean and service is excellent. Some of our favorites include: Walnut Shrimp, Salt Pepper Pork, Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and Duck. During our dinner here tonight, their take out orders kept coming in non stop and the restaurant was packed! That should say something. Pro Tip: If there's a football/basketball game playing, it will probably be on the big screen tv.

Nice small family run Chinese place. The minute chicken cake noodle was excellent with tasty bites of lightly crisp chicken and thick cakes of noodles that are satisfyingly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. We like it so much we got a double order. We also enjoyed the honey walnut shrimp and capital spare ribs.

On On Chinese Food is our go-to spot for family dinners! The food is always satisfying, and we especially love the salt and pepper eggplant dish--it's perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. We usually order a variety of dishes to share, and everything we've tried has been delicious. The portions are generous, making it perfect for larger gatherings or leftovers. That said, it's a staple for us when we're craving a comforting and tasty Chinese meal. Definitely worth a visit for family-style dining!

One of the last old school Chinese restaurants left. Char siu fried rice is killah!! Cake noodles with black bean chicken is insane!! But the crispy gau gee is the best. Pretty big size. Gotta try this place. One dish you must try is the salt n pepper pork chop. Soft and tasty!! Go eat there. You won't regret it

I ordered Beef Broccoli Cake Noodle. The food arrived very quickly. The "cakes" of noodle were small and bite-sized, as were the beef and broccoli. The viscosity of the gravy was excellent, and the cakes of noodle were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was one of the best Cake Noodle I had ever had. And I don't know what those reviewers are talking about when they mention the "mean" owner. She was very friendly with us.

Called in my order and they let me know 20 minutes. So 20 min later my food was ready to go! I ordered the dinner combo plate and the mixed plate A and it was a hit. Everything was tasty and good. I would say portions are small compared to your normal Chinese take out standards. I wouldn't say anything was spectacular but everything in general was good. There are about 8 dine in tables if you choose too, on a weekday when I went there were about 2 parties eating for dinner.

Update on another wonderful dinner at On On Chinese restaurant located on Kapahuluu Ave. Especially with wonderful friendship and to celebrate friends giving. All the delicious selection of good food ordered by AKA auntie Nadine C. Lol . Also Daniel .C surprised us with a blue sea bass he ordered from Chinatown and have the cooks in the back cooked and prepared it for us it was yummy. The only downside of this event is their portioning is very small compared to most Chinese restaurants. Although don't get me wrong the taste is very good compared to most places as well . Lots of parking right in front of the restaurant Support local

I was pleasantly surprised when the family decided to depart from their same ol' go to Chinese restaurants for a quick dinner. This long time Kapahulu restaurant serves good down home Cantonese food. Everything was delicious and each dish had its own distinct flavor. Loved the lamb casserole, sweet clams with black bean sauce, stuffed eggplant, and especially the gailan with fried flounder. It was dark green and more tender than usual. The pork hash was served with good quality salty hamnee and seafood casserole was also good. It was amusing when the owner/ cook came to clear our empty dishes at the end and complimented us on knowing how to order good food. 5 stars for food , 3.5 for Service which was not so friendly when we arrived but warmed up later on so rounded to 4.
